The vet tech program at CMC glenwood is fantastic and was what brought me to the school in the first place. The vet tech program is like a seperate school on it's own. I dropped out of vet tech 2nd semester and just took regular classes and that changed my opinion on the instituation entirely. The classes are EASY! My high school classes were twice as hard. There are many qualified professors but the student body lacks diveresity. I found that most of the kids at my school were idiots who were only there to go skiing. Also, glenwood springs has absolutely no night life, all anyone ever did was go and get drunk in the woods. Also, the food was absolute SHIT, no variety in the menu, the kitchen staff is so under paid that they don't care about the quality of their food at all.

Dorm security was low, homeless friends of students were able to live in the dorms for weeks unnoticed.

They let anyone live in the dorms as long as they are taking 12 credits or more, so we had a couple creepy old men wandering around the halls at night.

The campus is beautiful though, there are lots of hiking trails available (if you have a car.) Unless you have a car or a friend with a car, you can't get anywhere. It's seriously a 2 mile treck just to get to the highway, and then at least 4 miles before you reach town.

My advice, go to a REAL college.
