All of the negative comments that I read about DU seem to be people who create their own problems. If you alienate yourself, then you will feel alienated. If you decide that everyone's against you, then it'll seem that way. This is a Catholic school, but Catholicism doesn't matter for students. My theology professor was Eastern Orthodox, for example. The priests are friendly and always willing to talk and help no matter who you are.If you don't like people who care about looking presentable when they walk out the door, then this isn't the place for you. But as a whole we're not looks-obsessed like some people seem to think. There're people underneath clothes.Come to DU with an open mind and willingness to learn and you'll do quite well. Come to anywhere with a self-destructive attitude and you will fail. DU is fun and there's a bunch of things to do on campus and around the town.
