Overall, Cornell is a great school. It draws some of the best students and faculty members in world. It's facilities and resources are top notch and classes are usually small or medium in size. You can also study just about anything. There are always things going on, although usually on campus. Ithaca itself is okay but will get boring after some time. The campus is huge, which is one of my only complaints. You sometimes can feel isolated, particularly in the winter time. The fact that there are so many people leads to cliques among friends and groups. There is a lot of diversity here, but in general, like people hang with like people. Politically, most students are moderate Democrats or apolitical.
