Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
Juilliard is a great school, but it costs a lot of money and a lot of kids have lots of loans. If you are offered a free ride to a school with a strong academic and music program take it. Juilliard has a great name and a great reputation but the truth is not everyone is going to have a performance career, which leaves a lot of people stuck. You have to be realistic. If all you can think about all the time is music and you get in, go to Juilliard If you want something more balanced, then a university program might be the right thing. Also Juilliard is going through this construction thing right now that is very inconvenient and there are never enough practice rooms for people to practice as much as they want. Carefully consider if you want to put up will all that and sacrifice everything for music
