Coming to Tulane was probably the best decision I ever made. The campus is beautiful (if you haven't visited, come see for yourself), New Orleans is the most fun city in the country, the people are great, and it's a great school academically.

As a finance major, I take a lot of my classes in the business school, which is by far the nicest building on campus. Not only that, but Tulane has one of the best business programs in the country, and offers many unique opportunities for students to learn in the workplace.

I just find it amazing that Tulane University has ranked as one of the best universities in the country the past few years. If you love to party, but know how to get your work done, this is the place for you. I've talked to my high school buddies, and they all think they are having fun at their respective schools, but in reality they go out maybe once or twice a week (probably on the weekend) to bars closing at 1, MAYBE 2 AM? The Boot bar closes at around 6am I think, and then afterwards you can go to the palms until about 8am. If you're not a fan of bars there are tons of fraternity parties/house parties. The best part is, there's always people out, regardless of what time is, or what day it is. I remember coming to visit two years ago, and I was just amazed by the amount of partying when someone came up to me and said,

yeah, it's finals week, so things are kind of slow
I was in awe.

Basically, if you want to go to a good school, have insane amounts fun, and try new things (I went to my first Lil' Wayne concert like 2 weeks ago, he came to Tulane!) then come check out Tulane.
