Keene State College

Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a freshman at Keene State College this year and have been here for a little over 2 months now and am having the best time anyone could have. My major is undecided so right now I am taking courses that will lead towards a general degree. This means that the classes I am taking the staff just put me into them so i'm not completely interested in these courses but they dont demand a lot from me at all. Coming from a highschool where you could hand in assignments 2-3 weeks late and still get the same grade as someone does when they hand it in when its due, this college is the same way.

Everynight there is something to do, party wise. Walk outside your building and you can hear the frat parties bumping. You need to learn to balance your drinking and work but not really all that much. The work load doesn't ruin your life, you get it done then you can go out. simple as that. The party nights to go out are Thursday and Saturday, the big parties where everyone you know is out, but other than that everyone else goes out and its a blast. This place is defffintaly what they call "Kinda Sorta College". They dont demand a lot from you and want you to have fun and get out and meet people instead of lock you in your room and make you study for hours upon hours. This is of course just my opinion, especially being "undecided" i have an easier work load, but do have a rooomate whose major is science and she has it just as easy as me. This place is deffintaly a party school so get ready to party. The proffessors are easy to find and are always right there in their office if you need them for anything. They are understandable and will listen to your issues if you couldn't make it to class, or your need help with understanding an assigment.

basically this place is a bunch of fun, you meet kids who are exactly alike and very approachable, everyone here wants to have fun but wants to get their work done before doing that, but there are the kids that sleep in class and dont do anything, and those are the ones you see sleeping over at the frat parties because they couldn't exactly make it back to their dorm.
