I agree the student body is so dumb. I came from UNC CH I was PhD student in ECO. I managed here to become a Professor without any effort this school is a JOKE! |
Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I feel it necessary to dissuade anyone I can from attending this "institution of higher learning." It's a joke. I transferred from NC State to UNCG because the tuition is much cheaper, but it was a huge mistake. A diploma from this school wouldn't even be worth wiping your butt with. It sucks. I had a 4.8 GPA in high school and my high school classes were much more challenging than the clases are here. I feel like a genius at the school because the student body is so dumb. I haven't studied more than 5 minutes for any test and have As and one B in my classes. Aside from the worse-than-lousy academics, there's nothing good about this school. The campus is pretty large, and there is no school-funded transportation system. The city provides ONE bus for the entire campus. It takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes for the bus to run the route. A few weeks ago, I had the displeasure of waiting at a bus stop for 15 minutes, just to watch the bus ride by without stopping. Also, there isn't any convienient off-campus housing, so walking or riding a bike for long distances are the only other options. Parking on campus is impossible. In comparison to other (better) universities, you pay incredibly high rates for parking, but are very lucky to ever find a parking space. I'm not really sure what the point of this institution is? It seems they only exists to serve themselves. Their primary concern appears to be money; they certainly don't use it to service the students. If you have a brain in your head, PLEASE apply to other schools and if you can get in, go elsewhere. It's for your own good, trust me.
