Catawba is one school that should be avoided at all costs. They want to badly to be like, Duke or Elon, which are just up the road. It's a complete joke to think that you'll be getting a quality degree at Catawba. It took me almost 2 years to find a real job, that was after i went back to community college and put some more credits under my belt. Most of the faculty are totally unapproachable and extremely rude. For the most part they look down at you if you ask a question. The party scene is disgusting, girls get raped left and right. Overall the entire place is horrible, the classes are a waste of time, the professors are as rude as all get out, and the students are only there for the sports. They're all a bunch of meat headed idiots.
