please do yourself a very big favor and do not come to marshall university.I don't even know where to begin.well to start it's a suitcase campus and a commuter school which means it's dead most of the time, to the point that some students go to other colleges to party,(I'm not kidding).I wanna say that 90% percent of the people that go here are from wv so if you wanna meet people from different places you really won't like it here.most went to high school with each other bringing there little cliques and groups to marshall,so it can be very hard for students coming from outside of wv.greek life here is a joke I mean you go to greek row or what they call greek row and it's dead on a friday or saturday night at 12:00.most people just go to the clubs like envy which are o.k. but could be alot better and get really old after a semester.the teachers here don't really care,it took two weeks for my bio proffesor to e-mail me back.Don't worry about going to class cause it's not like your proffesor will notice or even care!!DON'T come here even if your grades suck and you can't go anywhere else.your better off just taking classes at your community college and rasing those grades so you can go to a real college.oh yeah and our football team sucks like you have no idea.My high school team won more games.so if you want a college with no real parties,a shitty football team,and a ghost campus.By all means go to marshall!!(your better off going to wv wesleyan or wvu).
