Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
This school is pretty average. They have their ups and downs as well their fair share of professors. There are many who are willing to give up their weekends just to help you out and then there are others who have tenure and could really care less on how/what you think.

The Civil Engineering department is in a complete mess. Classes are always full and there are not enough of them. Technically the civil engineering course is supposed to be a 4-year deal, but most students look at it for 6-8 years. We are not lazy mind you. It is only recently that getting classes is a possibility.

It used to be that students would seek out other students with higher class registration to hold on classes for them. Bribery or being friends with them could be more than enough for them to hold classes for you. So what happens to those without that kind of access? We are pushed back another quarter and it keeps on piling.

There is no social life outside these school walls (excluding those clubs, but even then those club associated party's are nothing like the university life. Think business party). People come and go just for the sake of getting that piece of paper that says they can work now. They are mostly out there for themselves, but you do meet a few good eggs once in awhile.

If you are looking for a cut and dry school, this may be your cup of tea otherwise look elsewhere.
