Date: Nov 06 2007 Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time) Going to Villanova is extremely helpful if you plan on living and working in the Tri-state area, as I did. I cannot really comment on how my degree would have affected my job placement had I moved to a city such as Boston or California. That said, the school's reputation as well as the alumni network is very strong locally and I landed my first job through a fellow alumni of the school. I am currently in grad school and the education I received as an undergrad has helped me immeasurably. I am consistently in the top 5% percent of my class and have confidence in my ability to think both quantitatively and qualitatively. Lastly, the schools reputation keeps soaring and that has only helped to raise the value of my degree in the marketplace. Villanova was a very wise, very expensive investment.
