Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time)
After a long search, I chose Washington because of their stellar ability to find money to give to incoming freshmen. Other schools in the centennial conference equal and best Washington on many levels socially, but I did not feel any campus more concerned with me as an individual than Washington. People should know before attending that this is a very hidden gem. Most people haven't heard of Washington college and if they think they have, odds are it's not the right one. The students are essentially divided into two groups: those on scholarship, and those paying for scholarships. The construction, at present, is atrocious and a very noticeable blotch on the campus's past beauty. Another thing people should know before applying is that this is absolutely not a school for the sciences, but a very arts-based school; personally, I am majoring in both political science and philosophy.
