According to what I hear from students in other universities across the USA, UDC is an average American University. The education is good and the faculty is good as well. Unfortunately, the open enrollment policies of the university is sometimes the cause of very narrow-minded and unexposed classmates. The campus facilities have been neglected for years due to budget issues, which takes away the services for which students are still paying fees for. (pool, gym, etc…) pool and gym are closed most of the time. There is a lack of social life on campus, due to the fact that UDC is a comuter's university. If you are looking to acquire a good and affordable education, you should go to UDC. But definitely do not attend UDC if you are looking for the great college experience or want to create bonds with fellow students.
