Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
The class size at the college was excellent (10-20) and you actually got to know your teachers. In the business program I though the quality of instructions was strong with its focus on group work and projects, instead of on simply tests. The social aspects of the school is completely dependent on who you meet etc. I thought the party scene was fun especially because everyone walks instead of drunk driver due to the size of the town. If your into the bar scene this isnt the place for you, though. Some people are more religious conservative than is the norm at some colleges but at the same time you have your traditional liberal college students to balance this out. Generally I thought everyone was nice and at least in my major no one was super competitive. The school has a pretty campus and is easily walkable unlike bigger campuses like mizziou. There is no reason to have a car except for driving home. The dorms are so so and I thought they were over priced. There are a ton of rental apartments as close or closer than the dorms to classes that are cheaper and larger and without all the rules.I think the main weakness of the college is that it is barely known outside of Missouri. It tries to market itself as selective college but it relatively unknown outside of missouri to employers. Other state schools like Mizzou have a stronger reputation. The one exception to this is the accounting program which seems to be well regarded by large CPA firms.
