Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I absolutely adore Brandeis. I am a triple major, double minor who is done with one major and one minor by the end of my sophomore year- and I've done this without spending all of my time in the library studying. Brandeis just allows a person to get all of their "gen ed" credits in their majors or minors if they so choose, with the exception of PE.I always find it strange that people complain about the social life here. If social life means drinking then yes, you might find it lacking. I have a very full social life and haven't gone to a single party, not that I didn't know where one was at any given moment. There are over 250 clubs on campus, an active student union, and activities all the time. Sometimes on a given night, I have to chose from 4 or 5 great things to do. When people complain about their social lives, all I can think of is that they are letting THEMSELVES down. Your social life is only as good as you make it at Brandeis, which can be a painful truth for people who come here expecting to have parties thrust upon them. I've only had one BAD professor, and his field is so obscure that very few people ever have him. Many of my professors I would also count as friends and mentors. If you take the time to go to office hours, you will almost always have a good experience with your professors.
