Chatham University is quite alright if you are searching for a quiet, peaceful place to just quickly get through 4yrs of college, in addition to 1yr of a graduate work. I basically needed a college that was focused on academic achievement among women and tailored the course requirements to the abilities and interests of women. To counteract the gay stereotype, I am very straight, in fact, I am a follower of Christ. That is why I chose this school because I wanted to remain focused on my work and other important things. For the most part, if you don't reside on campus you will be fine and during the day the atmosphere is quite nice! No college is perfect and everyone differs on what makes them comfortable. I would suggest being open minded when deciding on Chatham and not generalizing stereotypes to everyone that goes there. Not everyone is the same. I've met very nice students of whom were nice to talk to and do projects with.

I have a few good professors who I truly like. You are bound to gain close relationships with them. You are always acknowledged, which can be a little stressful. However, the campus is so nice that you can always find a quiet place to study or just think without being bothered.
