Lovely social atmosphere. Because the school is so small, professors are extremely approachable, and both faculty and staff are friendly and encourage students to treat them as equals. All instructors go by their first names. Course content varies a bit; there are many interesting and challenging subjects, including most of the upper-level fine arts classes and the art history program, but I can't pretend every class has a brilliant A-rating. However, it's easy to arrange an exciting schedule that tests your intelligence simply by talking to current students. They are more than happy to discuss their experiences in individual classes and help you pick yours. The apartment housing offers a healthy dose of independence while keeping you walking distance from class.
