Let me start of by saying that Loyola was my dream school and when I got in a did not even hesitate to look at any other schools i was accepted to. WOW what a mistake that was. education- it is obviously a pristigeous school educaton wise but- the facualty is snooty and rude, the small atmosphere makes it easy for some professors to play favorites, and if you think you can party hearty and still come out with a good gpa think againsocial- one word lame. hardly any parties, 65% girls, half the guys are homosexuals and a majority of people never want to party. a lot of people are really rich and it is just an overall exremely annoying competative atmosphere, not even education wise but money wise too. btw everything is extremly overpriced and you pretty much overpay for EVERYTHING!including the 42,000 so unless you find friends at other schools in the city your pretty much screwed as far as party life goes, oh yeah and no football team and the sport events suck!!! there is hardly any school spirit and lots of closedmindedness and religionmy advice—i am thankful for the education but it was so not worth the money, i transfered to a state school and it is a hundred times better socially and education wise. if you are looking for a COLLEGE exprience i do not reccomend coming to loyola, but if you are extremly determined and perpared to focus only on education then go for it
