The people who go to Marquette are friendly and outgoing - I have made a lot of friends here. Unfortunately, Marquette University does not offer much in the way of extracurricular activities besides community volunteering. There is not much to do besides study and drink. A lot of students drink quite heavily, I might add. I have met only 2 people who do not drink. The courses seem quite average and some of the professors, particularly in the sciences are just awful. I expected a little more for all the money they charge. The campus itself seems safe but it borders some of Milwaukee's worst neighborhoods (with horrible gang and street violence). Do not go north and west of the campus! I am looking to transfer although I will miss the friends I have made here.
