Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I came to this site on a lark and was surprised to see the last post. The academics at GMU are excellent. The SITE program for computer science is nationally and internationally ranked. All the professors have a tremendous amount of experience and two of the one's I had in my freshmen year actually wrote the text books we were using. Again the comments on the staff at the university are absurd. You will not find a more comprehensive co-op and internship program in the state of Virginia. In addition, the career services department at Mason does a tremendous job at organizing job fairs and on-campus interviews. The job fair is so large it goes on for two and a half days! Mason also has the distinction of having the highest rate of students at the graduate and undergraduate level who go on to start their own companies. Given the quality of the last post - I would suggest people interested in Mason check out additional resources and other sources of information and advice before making your decision.George Mason is an outstanding young university in an excellent location to support your educational goals and develop a career.
