Date: Jan 14 2008 Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time) The ORU "face" or administration have alot of problems/issues. Going to ORU is generally very polarizing, but ultimately you yourself determine your success or descension into cynicism. As for the students, professors, and academic material—those are all amazing. I don't believe you could find that quality elsewhere. After graduating and speaking to other alumni that have attended undergrad elsewhere—I have realized that the coursework at ORU is very rigorous, challenging, and has a higher standard than most other universities. The professors are BRILLIANT and very compassionate. When you graduate, you can rest assured you received a quality education…as long as you get used to being vague when people ask "Where did you attend college?" ("…in oklahoma…in tulsa…at ORU…ok, ok…at Oral Roberts University—but it was a really great school despite its reputation, i promise!") Despite all the RIDICULOUS rules (curfew, no guys in girls dorms EVER, etc), it was really FUN to go to school there and I made ALOT of friends that I will keep forever. The people that choose this college are some of the most fun, kindest, and most integrous people you will ever meet. I only hope that one day they fire all the top people and get real professionals in there—and then CHANGE the NAME and remodel all the buildings! :)
