I actually was an education major before I decided to go to law school. I talked with the so called TLU "expert" on getting into law school and he gave me about 5 mountains to climb. He had never really practiced law and had been out of law school at least 40 years…everything he told me was totally out of date (which is typical at TLU). Then one semester I had to take a class at the off campus site of TLU at an air force base. All the older students told me to go talk to their advisor there at the base. Holy crap! That guy knew stuff that nobody else wants you to know. He had me test out on about 30 hours of stuff, take the LSAT, and I got into the law school I wanted…all in less than a year. And guess what…I'm now a real lawyer doing great. If I had listened to the "lawyers" at TLU I'd still be doing schoolwork.
