So many people are saying bad things about 'Wick but I personally love the school. I don't know if it is because of the department I am in or because I have better experiences than most, but I have been very pleased with Hartwick. The thing that has been most positive for me is the professor-student relationships. I feel like all of the professors at Hartwick are so willing to help students and all are so approachable. Again, this may just be the departments I am familiar with, but I am involved in the Education, Art, and Spanish departments, so I get around. I strongly believe that you make your own experiences worthwhile… and I have a hard time believing that anyone could hate Hartwick so much if they actually TRIED to enjoy themselves. Oneonta as a town is a bit lacking, but if you do your research, you should know that BEFORE you get there! It shouldn't come as a shock. Anyway, I am getting ready to graduate this spring and I am sad about leaving… I really have enjoyed my time there and think that it was a great place.
