I LOVE UGA! Anyone who doesn't love it must be a very negative, miserable person in general because there is truly something for EVERYONE here. No matter what your niche, personality, ethnicity, preferences, etc. you will love it. UGA is more diverse than people might think. Yes, greek life plays a large role ( I am in a sorority here and I absolutely LOVE IT!) on campus but its not THAT big of a deal bc there are 400 other organizations you can get involved with. Anyways, there is constant partying, both in downtown athens and at house parties around campus, but there are also lots of people who don't drink and they have ton of fun here too. Academics are okay, the classes are a little big, esp. the first 2 years before you start getting into your major. Go to office hours and introduce yourself to your profs, I guarantee you it will pay off.

So far, I have had such an amazing experience here and met people I know I will be friends with for the rest of my life. Whether you are in-state or out-of-state, a partyer or not, I highly recommend that you consider coming to the University of Georgia. It is fabulous! GO DAWGS!
