Major: Telecommunications (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a television production major here at Columbia College, and I think it's absolutely wonderful. Some of my general education classes aren't what I would like them to be, but my department is amazing. As a television student, they really get your hands on real-world equipment right away and they make it a point to let you know how it is the work in the field. The film department is rather large, so some of those students change their majors to television and enjoy the many resources and perks to being in a smaller department. The campus is very non-traditional, but that's one of the reasons why I like it. It's Chicago! What's not to love. There's plenty to do especially if you enjoy art and museums.
