Honestly BYU is a great place. A lot of people are going to say that it won't expose you to the real world like most other universities. That is true because you will not see rampant drug and alcohol abuse like you would at other colleges or huge problems with sexual exploitation. It is not true that everyone here is bigoted against gays and women. People here, like everyone in the world, are imperfect and have lots of growing up to do but don't believe what everyone says. It is a very competitive school and people study a lot. But if you work hard and get involved you will have a lot of fun. Just be open to new experiences and you'll love it.
