Major: Naval Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Overall, the experience was positive. I did find that some of the students were a bit dumb, but in general they were OK. Mostly I met some wonderful students and professors. The administration tends to take certain things too seriously, such as the first-year program and undergraduate reasearch day. Sometimes the professors and administration seem to have no nose for B.S. from the students or certain faculty members. There is a lot of emphasis on "leadership," and even a new chair in "leadership studies."I really wish that we had a basketball team, and that they hired more people in naval architecture and engineering.
