WNEC is a school for those who havn't had many friends in the past. I feel as though it's hard to make friends here because there are alot of people who are closeminded to others, except those who they met right away, or those who can get them alcohol. The living conditions are not that great, but I got very lucky by rooming with my best friend. If I didn't have him I would be miserable. I was actually a very fortunate guy and I found a lovely female here. I'm about 1 in 100 for that one. The social life here blows…there is nothing to do on the weekends. The school sponsered events suck about 90% of the time and the parties are in Gateway or at a sports house. SO unless you are willing to venture, you will not find a party, plus your chances of getting mugged are high! Thats why I go home every weekend with the other half of the school, cause there is nothing to do besides sit in your dorm room. I have more fun with my family, how pathetic!! The only thing keeping me here is the fact that I met a few good people who I may room with next year, if it fals through I filled out an app to Uconn. All in all, weigh your options carefully!!! This place can be decieving!!!
