There are a lot of things, both good and bad, I could say about EKU. Honestly, it all depends on what kind of student you are. Professors (usually) will seem more friendly toward you if you are friendly toward them and you honestly care about your education. But, as with every university, there are those few professors who no one gets along with.

I'm not fond of Dorm Life at EKU. I did my 2 years in the dorms and was so excited to get out. They are moldy and run down and the housing department is a pain to deal with. But on a plus note, there are a lot of apartments close to campus with great prices. It actually cost more to live in the dorms than it does to get an average apartment.

Parking Sucks at Eastern, for both residents and commuters, but that is something you will most likely find on any campus. (The campus police are ticket happy!!!)

The campus itself is absolutely beautiful!!! In every season the campus is just gorgeous! There are always events for students to attend. For example, we have several concerts a year. Last year we heard Jason Aldean & Corry Smith, and so far this year Emerosn Drive has been here and there is going to be a spring concert in April. Other events include Dance Theatre, Comedians, Movie Nights, and much more. Student Activities Council is always putting on some event for students.
