Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
If you are looking for a school based only on the academics and professors, Hood College is the place to be. Otherwise, there is a huge lack in social life. There is not much to do on campus. Because of the small population, its almost like being in high school because you end up seeing the same people everyday, and everyone knows everyone. Its not the best place to be socially, but it is a great place to get an amazing education. The math department has given me so many oppertunities over the past two years that I would have never gotten at a bigger university. Being at a small campus allows the professors a better oppertunity to notice your talents and reward accordingly. Personally, I can deal with the lack of campus life (since I am a commuter now after living on campus for a year and a half) to get a great education and tons of great oppertunities.
