i absolutely loved the school. i came here from new jersey as an athletic training major and a varsity swimmer. i made a lot of incredible friends and had equally great professors. the exercise science department is wonderful with professors who truly care about their students.

unfortunately, the school is a bit conservative just because it's a little south of where i'm from. the biggest problem i had with SU (and the reason i transferred after my sophomore year) is that i was petrified to leave my apartment at night because even walking to the car seemed dangerous. the police and the town don't care about the safety of students. i cannot tell you how many of my friends have been mugged or threatened in the neighboring area. there were armed robberies in our apartment complex multiple times. the school recently did a survey and over 50% of students don't feel safe leaving campus or walking outside at night.
