Overall, the Carthage is an alright school to attend. I've experienced numerous problems that, had I know about them sooner, would have been deal breakers for me. The administration is much more worried about their pet projects (the new dorms, the student center, etc.) than they are about current students and real problems on campus (the current state of the existing dorms, having just one meal plan option, things of this nature). Some completely asinine things have ticked me off this year, things that make me feel like I'm in some kind of college twilight zone. Examples include: plowing the parking lot directly between the dorms with construction equipment starting at midnight on a weeknight, no hot water for showers in the morning being common, and the entire senior graduation check in process (which was over the top ridiculous/time wasting).
