Date: Mar 25 2008 Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time) I loved UNCG. I was in Mary Foust's program now called the Warren Ashby Residential College Program. They really fostered personal growth and helped me turn into a thoughtful adult. Many of my friends went to Chapel Hill, Wake, or Duke. Not only was my education more affordable, I got more one on one interaction and many opportunities my friends at other more competitive colleges did not receive. I was a big fish in a small pond and that made all the difference for me. In a bigger college with less interaction I am sure I would have probably dropped out. I am now about to complete my PhD and would not be in this position without the helpful advisors and faculty/staff at UNCG. My only advice is get involved. Be a part of a student and faculty group! It is easy to get lost in college but the faculty at UNCG is very helpful if you get to know them.
