I'm a sophomore at Union. I'm from the area but hadn't actually heard of Union until I became a junior in high school. The first time I walked on campus, I loved it. If I could have given the campus aesthetics higher than an A+, I would have. It's beautiful here all year round. The people are awesome, the professors are really accessible, the course load is manageable—challenging but plenty of time to have fun on campus. We're ranked #1 right now for campus activities, there's always an opportunity to do something. Academically, we have a variety of majors in everything from Engineering to East Asian Studies, and if you don't see one you want, you can make it yourself. The people here are friendly and open, there's a great sense of community and every time you walk around campus, you'll have students, faculty and staff waving hello.
