Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
Once you get past being a closeminded freshman you realize that Ramapo is a great school. Yes, the parties are not so great and security is tough but if you want a party you will find one and theres always a place to have a good time. Ramapo helps you to become a more educated individual not an alcoholic, unlike Rutgers where half of the freshman fail classes because of too much partying. The Nursing program is tough and only gets tougher during clinicals. It's challenging and competative. For those of you who aren't decided, Ramapo helps you decide on a major. If you come here undecided and choose to just party, im sure you wont like this school as much as people who are more involved. Be sure to get involved in some club, sport or organization. No one's going to force you into becoming a good student, you have to learn to manage time and entertain yourself all on your own. Dont listen to the freshman (not that I'm much older) but some people need to grow up.I'm an athlete and I work& volunteer on campus, I made a lot of friends and already have great memories, I went out and partied my freshman year and I still go out every week. You CAN have fun here. I really recommend this school for someone who's smart enough to realize that college isn't just what it is in the movies, there's a reason your parents pay for it.
