SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIVERSITY: UNEQUIVOCALLY, THE WORST "UNIVERSITY" IN AMERICA AND A PORTRAIT FOR EVERYTHING THAT'S WRONG WITH THIS GREAT COUNTRY.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!

IT IS A HORRIBLE, SOUL-WRENCHING, ELITIST, BREEDING PEN FOR THE RICH AND THE ELITE MASQUERADING AS A LEGITIMATE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION!

THIS IS NOT A COLLEGE! THIS IS A MICROCOSM FOR THE KIND OF SOCIETY GEORGE W. BUSH AND THE NEO-CONS WANT AMERICA TO BE!

This place has all the right elements for a "tragic" school shooting - the "haves" and the "have-mores" running the place, a certain un-vocal minority PERMANENTLY left out of the social scene and basically everything else (isn't that what America's REALLY all about nowadays, Mr. Bush??).

I worry very much about this school…the differences in class, gender and race are so pronounced at this school I find it hard to find that anyone could attend this school and not feel one way or the other. YOu're either rich or poor, white or minority, voice or no voice, have or have-not etc. It's a microcosm of the society that the Neo-Cons want to create: the Haves and Have-nots.

Anyway, with Dubya setting up his own library on campus, this school will get even more negative press. Maybe people will finally understand that you truly do not get an education at this place. Maybe people will stop attending this poor excuse for an educational institution and maybe it will cease to exist in 20 years…best case scenario. I truly hope this school dies out in that

If some crazy shoots up this place like that animal at Virginia Tech, I wouldn't be surprised, but not entirely unhappy. I wish I could feel some empathy for some of these students if they died in a massacre…but this hollow shell of a university has stripped away my faith in intellectualism, empathy and pretty much anything good and human and decent that used to be in me…

time…and then and only then can we say that America is making progress.

Also bear in mind that Jeffrey Skilling, of Enron fame, got his education here too.

If I'm being overly dramatic and rambling, it's my way of saying:

THIS SCHOOL SUCKS!!! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!! IF YOU WANT A REAL EDUCATION UNFILTERED BY THE FISTS OF THE RICH AND THE ELITE, TRY ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL IN THE NATION BUT DON'T GO HERE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! I WENT HERE AND I CAN BARELY CONSTRUCT A LEGIBLE RATIONALE FOR AVOIDING THIS NASTY DISGUSTING UNIVERSITY!!!

If we're going to have any hope for the future, instutitions like SMU MUST cease to exist. And that can only start with you, Mr or Mrs. Prospective College Student.
