Im in my junior here at OU. I grew up in Dallas and applied to OU as a safety school to Tulane and Vanderbilt since my family went there. I got a good scholarship to OU but biggest regret is that I didnt apply to more schools. I dont line it here, most people just kind of accept it for what it is and a few people love it. I think those opinions are reflected in the other comments on here. The greek life here definately divides people. You can avoid it but its not always easy and by time you are in your jr or sr year you probably will already have a regular group of friends. Everyone always seems to be talking about how its getting so much harder to get accepted but don;t buy into that becuase the acceptance rate is one of the highest last time I checked and the student population is growing. Most people that aren't from Oklahoma don't really like it here so you will find that students leave the state after graduation.
