CUNY baruch is a very good business school.  The coursework really gears you toward the business profession.  However, the environment is also like the business world as well.  The school as well the students in my opinion are very impersonal.  Students basically come here, go to class, and then go home.  There really isn’t much of a social environment here.  The school feels like a job in that you don’t really have much fun.  I’ve been to 3 college sponsored parties (that is the only kind here) and all of them have been wack.  Only a handful of students actually show up to them and nobody really dances.  If you really want to be in the business profession and you don’t care about the social life, then by all means come here.  The school is basically one colossal building with no environment whatsoever.  Please don’t get me wrong and think I’m just bad mouthing the school.  The school would be excellent if bought some more real estate and made more of an effort to create a campus feel.  My advice would be to only come here if you just want to do your work and go home.  If you want to actually have fun with the last few years of childhood then go to City College or a SUNY school.  Because if you think about it, once you graduate LIFE hits you in the face and you really cant have as much fun as you can now.

btw i transfered out after the 1st year into SUNY geneseo
