Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
I got a great educational experience at Iowa State! I was one of the editors of the Iowa State Daily. Our student newspaper was a tabloid and read cover to cover each morning by most students.I was also a radio broadcaster at our student station. Iowa State provided a great environment for professional media related outlets.My journalism instructors were great! In whatever discipline, each was "old school". This was positive because it meant the basics in classic journalism. Objectivity is SUPREME!There was great instruction in photography, print and design. The campus is gorgeous and I have many fond memories of my time at ISU.Written and verbal communication skills are essential and invaluable in every aspect of life!Thank you ISU journalism department for helping me there!
