I am very pleased with the level of competence of instructors in the PhD program. Would like to see more choices offered at a time and also need to schedule class times that are more friendly to those who work full time and cannot take a class in the middle of the day.Amount of reading is a bit excessive. I would prefer to have smaller more manageable reading assignments that I could really absorb rather than skimming through volumes with only a limited amount of understanding and retention of information. Also would prefer less material at the reserve desk…I need to be able to take stuff home not tie up 2 hours at the library.
