The administration is completely unorganized and clueless as to what a student needs to do to progress in his/her college career. I was told to take specific classes for my major my first semester as an out-of-state transfer student, and the next semester someone told me none of those classes I took counted for anything.

I was cornered in to only being able to take one class in order to take any other class in my major and was ill-advised in that i couldn't keep up with the course work of that class because i needed the previous class to help me understand this one. I had to drop the class because I was failing, which I have never done in all of my years of schooling. In dropping this class, I was no longer in school that semester because they wouldn't allow me to take any other classes.

I contacted the school about retaking this class during summer and just got confused questions and improper advice..

you have to fill out a form in order to attend another school for a semester, we will send it to you, then you fill it out and send it back

I did just that. 3 days after faxing the form back with no response, i called the office and they had no idea what i was talking about and transferred me to about 3 different people who eventually just said they didn't know about a form, i'm supposed to fill something out online. well thanks, now that summer class is filled up and im out of school again. i am not ever going back to brooklyn college. they wasted an entire year and thousands of my dollars FOR NOTHING.
