Being from Chicago, I did not know what to expect for UofL. So far, I must say that I am very disappointed in my decision. I received a full scholarship here and that is the only reason why I will stay for my junior and senior year. I feel that this schools is too easy, caters to much to athletics, and there are too many closeminded judgmental prejudice students. I knew racism and prejudice existed but it is very live and well and in your face at UofL, in the city, and in the state of Kentucky. People here accept it as the norm, but it is something that I will never get use to. I would not recommend coming here or any other school in Kentucky. My experience and trips to other universities in Kentucky such as UK and WKU have been filled with racist bigots. As soon as I graduate, I am leaving Louisville and moving somewhere else.

Please don't think it's like this in all of Kentucky. UK and U of L are public schools and thus cater to the lowest denominator of Kentuckians, many of whom are terrible students and bad people. I am from Kentucky and I'm pretty sure I'm going out of state. UK and U of L aren't academic schools. Should've gone to Transy!
