Old West is what you make of it. It also depends on what time of the day you make your judgments. In the morning, campus is swarming with white commuters while in the evening if you were to pass by the dorms, you would see mostly black and hispanic people. It is what it is. I enjoy Old West. I gave up going to schools like University at Buffalo, Stony brook University, SUNY New Paltz's Optometry program, Queens College, LIU Doctor of Pharmacy Program, just to name a few of the schools I had been accepted too and I can honestly say I have no regrets. Old West is known mainly for their Accounting and Education programs. I want to teach so I'm staying. I've also made some awesome friends here as well. To me Old West is just undergraduate school- no biggie. Graduate school is the important one.
