Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
What a waste of time and money. I took the insurance medical billing and coding program. I do not feel like I received the necessary education in order to succeed in this field of work. My externship was a big joke, they sent me to a podiatrist (foot doctor) for 30 days who only looked for students because she was in need of office cleaning. She did not teach me anything besides how to clean the office to her standards. She did not even know how to code. She was just the receptionist. On my last day she said she would have to call for another student because she needs help with cleaning. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!! Although I graduated with honors, because I had not choice. I do not feel this was a great program. You end up making 10-12 dollars an hour. You can do that without spending $7,000 dollars on a student loan through sallie mae. I cant afford to pay off the loan because I do not make enough. I ended up working as a leasing consultant for a management company.
