My overall experiance at CCM was generally positive from '93 to '95 when I attended and got my Associates in Humanities/ Social Science. On the positive side the mentorship that I received from professor John Williford was invaluable. Since Cliff Wood left as director of student affairs, the quality has gone downhill. Their is no question in my mind that Brookdale is a better program, as I have seen many students transfer to the Coastal Communiversity. One can get a quality 2 or 4 year education at Brookdale's satelite campus. The students don't have the commuter mentality and their is a higher job placement rate due to more internships and colleges take more transferable credits. They have also spent $4 million to update security since Virginia Tech shootings.
