Date: Jul 27 2008
Major: Architecture (This Major's Salary over time)
Pros:
  • Very solid academics
  • Great architecture program
  • Lots of geographic diversity
  • Gorgeous campus
  • Great library
  • Great athletics/school spirit
  • Fun college town
  • Outdoor opportunities available/amazing outdoor pursuits program
  • Friendly students
  • Amazing gym
  • Great food on campus
  • Cons:

  • Intro classes are very large
  • The lack of sun
  • Research oriented (both a pro and con)
  • Too many foreign professors in certain departments
  • The protesting can get annoying
  • The out of state tuition
  • They need to build newer dorms (which they are in the process of doing)
  • Lack of ethnic diversity (the school is mostly White and Asian)
  • I turned down Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Washington to come here. So far, I'm very happy with my decision.
