Where to begin? The Quaker heritage gives Swarthmore its case of chronic self-righteousness in all things - also the creepy and unattractive natures and appearances of most people here. The task of the College is to produce boring farts who spend the rest of their lives talking about having gone to "Swarthmore" where what little spirit they had to begin with was broken. The only thing worse than the college is the surrounding town where they still live in fear of a Jew or Catholic being their neighbor. A dry town full of drunks and the worst sort of Presbyterians who fool themselves into thinking the are proper Wasps, and of course the Quakers with their deep love for African-Americans as long as they clean their houses and then take the bus back to Chester. Swarthmore is freak show which charges the exhibits rather than the audience.
