Look, the UD is a difficult school—not many make it through the four years. (Before you come here, make sure you've looked into the University properly. Sit in on some classes, talk to students and professors. It is hard to get credits transferred as not many schools base themselves in Classical thought.) People are often conservative and have little concern for anything outside their sphere. Course work is demanding and you often feel as if you're accomplishing very little. 98% of the time I was the minority, the Dean of Student life is a joke on a power trip, and so is the President. However, I would not take back these past four years. I was exposed to a completely different method of thought. I learned to WRITE, argue logically, and articulate my ideas in a way that I had never been able to, and met incredibly gifted and kind people. All of the sweat and tears have been completely worth it. It's not an easy time; most people struggle. But you're surrounded by BRILLIANT students and professors who push you to a level you never thought possible. This is not a school for everyone, you have to love to learn and explore. I do not agree with everything my professors stood for, but I respect them because of their goodness and genuine concern for the minds of their students.
