Essentially, you have to take Miami for what its worth. The university offers a wonderful education for the price (especially for a public school), a beautiful campus, and close proximity to Cincinnati. The student body, though for the most part upper-middle, and upper class, is entirely friendly and approachable. Alcohol and fraternities/sororities are big, but c'mon folks, its college. Fun is part of the equation along with getting a degree to ensure a stable future. A helluva lot better than any other school in the MAC conference, let alone any other public school in Ohio. Comparable universities include Penn State, Clemson, and Boston College.
