Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
Georgetown is an amazing school. I have fallen in love with Washington DC. There are so many great places to go - shopping, restaraunts, bars, dancing, shows, monuments, museums - not to mention the overwhelming professional opportunities for internships, especially if you're into politics. Even if you're not into that (like me - English major), I don't feel out of place at all.The best part of Geogetown is definitely the students and professors. Campus is tight-knit, students are friendly and helpful, and life is overall enjoyable. I would only consider a handful of people I know really competitive, but the vast majority of people work together on projects and essays and such. SFSers tend to be the more competitive bunch, but all of the people I know in the SFS are awesome and chill people. Georgetown's the perfect mix of work and play. Sure, the library will be full to the brink on a Sunday night with highly-caffeinated students, but at the same time you'll see kids huddled around a laptop watching youtube (my personal favorite method of procrastination). Basically, Georgetown rocks. Come.
